Contents of the AI Hackathon for management teams

Our curriculum is meticulously structured to guide your management team through a logical progression from fundamental knowledge to complex strategic planning.

Phase 1: Kick-off & AI foundations

Short opening to get the management team on one line. We cover where AI is delivering real value today, what's still hype, and what's realistic for the organization in the next 6 to 12 months. Live demos of agentic AI and RAG applications give the team concrete reference points before they start working on their own ideas. No theory dump, just enough shared vocabulary to make the rest of the day productive.

Phase 2: Use case sprints

In small groups the team works through concrete AI opportunities for the organization. Each sprint takes one area (operations, customer contact, knowledge work, finance, HR) and produces a clear problem statement, expected impact, and a rough estimate of effort and feasibility. DataNorth coaches join each group to keep the conversation pragmatic and to flag what's actually buildable versus what sounds good in a slide.

Phase 3: Prioritization & roadmap showcase

Groups present their use cases to each other and decide together which ones move forward. The session closes with a prioritized shortlist of 3 to 5 initiatives, each with an owner, a next step, and a rough timeline. The management team leaves with a roadmap they can actually act on, not a list of buzzwords.
