Enhancing Eurofins’ AI knowledge
Eurofins aimed to simplify and enhance their internal processes while inspiring their staff to utilize AI tools effectively. They decided to introduce AI technologies to inspire their employees and showcase ways of making work-related tasks easier and less time-consuming.
Facing the challenge of engaging a diverse workforce across various business units to adopt new technologies and methodologies, the realization of AI’s potential immediately sparked the interest of many employees who were previously unaware of its capabilities.
Recognizing the room for improvement Eurofins decided to familiarize their workforce with the fundamentals of AI. This is the first essential step to exploring specific AI applications which can be used in their operations.
The goal was simple. Equip employees with the knowledge to understand AI, particularly ChatGPT, and empower them to think about its possible use cases within their work and the organization.
Key challenges in terms of AI:

Eurofins partnered with DataNorth to deliver an interactive ChatGPT webinar, aiming to equip employees with a solid grounding in AI and AI tools, and inspire their integration into daily tasks and future projects.
Enhancing AI Understanding in Eurofins
During the webinar, participants were first introduced to the basics of Artificial Intelligence and the latest AI tools, such as ChatGPT, explaining its history, alongside the technological impact, benefits, and challenges.
Use cases were also demonstrated for both work and personal life settings. These examples showed how AI tools can be tailored to meet specific needs based on daily operations. Moreover, participants engaged in interactive Q&As designed to address possible concerns or questions when it comes to AI, ChatGPT and more.
Participants were also introduced to prompt engineering using ChatGPT to effectively summarize or generate text and create content, for example, and were also provided with a prompt engineering Cheat Sheet to help them get started with AI. Lastly, we also touched upon the capabilities of Microsoft Copilot, and its possible applications in daily operations.

The initiative was highly successful, attracting more than 90 participants from various levels who provided positive feedback. The key outcomes included increased awareness and adoption of AI tools within the organization, enhanced efficiency in tasks such as email management and document processing, and sustained interest and inquiries about further AI applications and tools.
